The GREEN STEAM partnership involves 6 experienced organizations from across Europe:

The University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia is a Bulgarian state university founded in 1953. The mission of UCTM is to prepare highly qualified specialists with higher engineering education in all areas of chemical technology and metallurgy, biotechnology, ecology, information technology, and management, as well as to develop fundamental and applied research in the traditional fields of natural sciences and chemical technology.

UCTM is the GREEN STEAM project coordinator, who will be also responsible for the development of the flipped online training course in Entrepreneurship in STEAM. The course will address the topics of financial literacy, spotting challenges, identifying opportunities, intrapreneurship and entrepreneurship, fostering agency and a sense of initiative, cultivating responsibility, and change-making. The Business Foundation for Education (BFE) is a leading Bulgarian non-government organization, established in 2005. The organization capitalizes on the capacity and continues the efforts of the successful USAID Labour Market Project, directed to reinforce the competitive workforce development in Bulgaria.

BFE is a recognized leader in the field of lifelong learning and career guidance in Bulgaria. It represents the National Board for Certified Counselors that offers the Global Career Development Facilitator certification program. In the last 16 years, BFE has trained and certified more than 1000 professionals, thus creating capacity for career guidance of all ages across the country.

The team has coordinated and taken part in more than 60 European projects, which have a major impact on the professional community, citizens, and education and guidance system in Bulgaria.

In GREEN STEAM, the team of BFE is responsible for the dissemination and impact assessment of results and will develop the training module Project Management and Social Skills in Entrepreneurship.

Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Łodzi (AHE) is an accredited higher education institution in Poland, offering a diverse range of programs including traditional degrees, postgraduate studies, and courses aimed at various demographics such as unemployed job-seekers, youth and seniors. With 23 faculties and over 100 courses, including five in English, AHE emphasizes updated curricula tailored to market needs. Known for its cutting-edge technology, AHE has a professional publishing house, a TV studio, a technology incubator, a clinic and a sizable library with free access. 

Expertise includes research, curriculum design, e-learning development, and EU project management. AHE excels in educational research, innovative teaching methodologies, and e-learning, particularly in economics, educational science, psychology, entrepreneurship, and ICT integration. The Polish Virtual University (www.puw.pl), operating at AHE, offers distance learning. AHE fosters creativity, business skills and social integration through workshops and courses.

In the GreenSteam project, AHE leads the Quality Assurance, the development of Toolkit & Flipped learning labs, and is responsible for the training model Innovation and design thinking in entrepreneurship.

Mindshift Skills Hub is a consultancy company founded in 2017 with a national presence in Lisbon and Castelo Branco. With a strong focus on skills development, Mindshift’s main business areas are: #consulting services; #project design and management; #bespoke mentoring, coaching, training, and skills development programmes; #didactic digital tools; #dynamisation of professional working groups. Mindshift fosters strategic collaboration with local, national, and international partners based on a culture of value creation and sustainability. Its multidisciplinary team is strongly committed to ESG practices and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

In GREEN STEAM, the team of Mindshift is responsible for developing the Women Mentor Guide. 

UnitelmaSapienza is an Italian online University, directly linked to the largest Italian public University, Sapienza Università di Roma. Thanks to its accreditation with the Italian Ministry of Education and Research, the University issues qualifications with full legal value.

UnitelmaSapienza, through the use of advanced information technology and methodologies in distance learning, promotes access to higher education, without the constraints of space, and time, providing services to students and workers out of office, who are unable to attend regular educational activities. Teaching, training, and research within the campus, combine the necessary economic, managerial and legal knowledge required to manage the complex business within the “information society”.

Thanks to its expertise in the development of online training pathways, UnitelmaSapienza will guide the creation of the GREEN STEAM flipped online training course, setting methodologies for the creation of a high-quality virtual learning environment.

The Software Engineering and Internet Technologies Laboratory (SEIT lab) is part of the Computer Science Department of the University of Cyprus. The lab focuses its research activities on two important areas of Information Technology, namely Software Engineering and Internet Technologies.

In the first area, SEIT focuses on Cloud Computing, Service Oriented Architectures, Context-Aware Middleware Platforms, Smart and Mobile Computing, Open Source Software and Empirical Software Engineering, for the development of pervasive, self-adaptive applications and Smart IoT services. 

In the second area, the Laboratory concentrates on the development of ICT-enabled Environments, platforms and tools for implementing Health monitoring and support services, Smart and Personalised services for Elders, Assistive Technologies for people with disabilities and Creativity services. The lab also pursues activities related to Technology Enhanced Learning, E-Business, E-Government and developing environments for elders’ social inclusion, active ageing and independent living. 

Finally, the lab’s research is also related to Creativity, Recommender Systems, Crowd Sourcing and Privacy Enhancing Technologies.

In GreenSteam, the team of Seit is responsible for the Open Learning Platform, and for the development of the training module Digital Skills in Entrepreneurship.
